Local and Community Leaders were Invited to the LDS Bishops Storehouse Dedication and VIP Open House
April 15th, 2016, a VIP Open House was held at the new LDS Bishops Storehouse. A dedication was held this morning, April 16th, with local and Church leaders speaking and a dedication given by Bishop Caussé. A Storehouse is like a food pantry serving local and extended community members. It also has many long-term storage items for purchase and anyone in the community can purchase items to add to their personal preparedness items. The Palmyra Storehouse serves people from Buffalo and Jamestown to Albany and North to Watertown and down to PA. There is a Public Open House from 1PM to 5PM today for anyone wanting a tour or to see what the storehouse does in the local community. | |
Many local leaders and representatives from the Shortsville-Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce and the Macedon Palmyra Walworth Chambers of Commerce attended. | The storhouse is located at 790 Route 21 in the Town of Manchester. A map to the Storehouse is located here. |
The Dedication was also featured on the LDS Church Newsroom. | Canned goods stacked in one of the storehouse rooms. |
